Thanks to donations from our first Australian Angel, JSHealth, we have been funding this soup kitchen in a school in Salt River, Western Cape, South Africa since 2022. This has become a hub for children to be fed, feel safe, and learn to grow their own vegetables. The hub also offers a safe space, a library and trauma counselling rooms.

Since our formation in 2020, The Angel Network Australia has had a significant impact on our community. We have provided food, furniture, household items, clothing, toiletries, and other basic necessities to thousands of individuals in need both in Australia and abroad.

We believe in community and together with our network of Angels, we have assisted with:
*furniture and house hold items for victims of the 2020 bushfires, and floods in 2021
*collection of baby items for families fleeing domestic violence
*Settlement of refugee families
*collection and distribution of clothing for the homeless.

The Angel Network Australia, focuses on supplying basic necessities such as daily meals to children living in impoverished areas in South Africa. We provide thousands of meals a day at various soup kitchens, which we support on a monthly basis with the help of donations from generous Australian families. We also support 2 Day Care Centres and 1 after school tutoring service.

The Angel Delivery Circuit
The Angel Delivery Circuit, coordinated by Amy Wilson and over 120 dedicated volunteers, delivers fresh, wholesome meals and produce straight to the doors of those in need every week. Supplied by Our Big Kitchen, these deliveries reach people from all backgrounds.
SIMI - one of our new projects
SIMI's mission is to reduce poverty by enhancing mathematics education in secondary schools in South Africa. SIMI provides workbooks and instructional videos to under-resourced learners as we believe that improving maths skills can unlock opportunities and lead to better work prospects and a path out of poverty.
Muyambe Foundation - one of our new projects
Muyambe Foundation is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of Ugandan youth to discover their potential and live purposeful lives. Operating in Kampala’s Rubaga Division—home to some of the city’s poorest slum communities—we focus on empowering vulnerable children through sports, education, and holistic support.
House of dorcas
HOUSE OF DORCAS
42 Children visit the House of Dorcas every day after school in Kwazulu Natal. Two shipping containers and one Cabin provide space for tutoring and nurturing to be given to these Primary School Students. In the mornings the space is used for the Ready Set Empowered project, which involves 15 young adults receiving life skills and vocational training. All students are provided with a laptop to learn on while they are on site and snacks are provided in the mornings and after school. The space is being fully utilised as the programmes continue to grow.
Feedback from Kwazulu-Natal
"With the funds received we have been able to support:
- An inner city creche,
- After school literacy program (some are 12 years old and can't read in the area)
- 100s of towels, blankets, mattresses for the flood victims
- Rebuild 3 homes after a shack fire
- Paid for 30 homeless people to get an ID and be able to be employed
- 100s of backpacks filled with stationery and food for underprivileged schools
- Chairs for an old age home.
- Reusable adult nappies
- 400 rape whistles
- A new wheelchair for a volunteer who became paralysed after a back operation.
- We were even able to help a young student publish their book of poems, which are then sold and has created income for his family."
